LogLogic Joins Network Appliance™ Partner Program to Unleash Potential of Log Data to Protect Enterprises

Integrated Log Management and Enterprise Data Management Platform Helps Customers Satisfy Security and Compliance Needs

San Jose, CA – April 3, 2006 — Against a backdrop of increasing security threats, compliance requirements and business processes, the ability to collect, alert, store and report on log data has become a new imperative for enterprises and government. Today, LogLogic announced membership in the NetApp® Partner Program to help customers automate this process, while delivering enhanced levels of reporting and alerting for critical processes such as COBIT 4.0, and regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA and PCI.

Log data can account for up to 30 percent of enterprise data storage requirements. With as many as 10,000 log messages generated per second from a single set of firewalls, more than 25 terabytes of storage are needed each year to house all log data required for regulatory compliance initiatives.
