SAN JOSE, CA- March 29, 2007 - Enterprise demand for log management and intelligence solutions to answer compliance mandates and Enterprise threats spurred LogLogic to record revenue and customer growth in 2006. By doubling customers to over 300 - including many from the Fortune 100 -- LogLogic affirmed its place as the proven market leader in the fast growing Log Management and Intelligence (LMI) market. Log Management and Intelligence (LMI) has moved from a routine IT activity to a requirement for continuous compliance with regulations, industry mandates and IT policies.

New Version of Project Lasso Launches
A new version of its Open Source Windows Event Collector, Project Lasso, also saw several releases during the year that innovated high-performance, agentless log aggregation from a centralized server. Last month LogLogic released Version 3.2.0 of its Open Source Windows™ Event Collector at Sourceforge.net. With over 5,500 downloads to date, Project Lasso was architected to eliminate the need to manage individual log collection agents and greatly reduce the impact on monitored servers in terms of storage and processing. The reference design is the first in a series of community initiatives from LogLogic is driving to encourage developers, IT professionals, business users, and other technologists to participate in and accelerate the technology development process around log files and their management.
