LogLogic Congratulates First Log Management Certified Services Partners

LogLogic launches Certified Services Partner program to enable partners to complement log management platform with professional service offerings

SAN JOSE, CA – October 22, 2007 – LogLogic®, the log management leader, today announced their Certified Services Partner Program, designed for partners already reselling LogLogic's hardware, software, and targeted Compliance Suites. Under this program, current partners can become Certified Services Partners (CSPs) to deliver a variety of professional services to help customers make the most of their logs via the LogLogic Log Management and Intelligence (LMI) platform and the LogLogic Compliance Suites. LogLogic also congratulates Zepko, in the European theatre, and Ciphent, Corporate Networking Inc., iQwest, ITAT Partners and Arsenal Security Group in the US market, the first partners to successfully complete certification under the new program. Official LogLogic implementation services are now available to customers through these partners.

By offering expertise and professional services in addition to reselling LogLogic's security and compliance solutions, CSPs get the chance to enhance their revenues and margins and increase customer loyalty via reliable and repeated service engagements. In addition, they can offer comprehensive assistance to LogLogic customers by helping to develop custom plans for security strategy, identify compliance needs, assess policies and practices, and tap into the power of log data to address pressing business initiatives.

"We wanted to help LogLogic partners provide more than just a product to their customers—we wanted to help them provide a complete solution," said Richard Marquez, LogLogic's Vice President, Partner Sales. "With this program, we hope to bring partners closer to their customers and, in turn, bring customer understanding and execution of log management for security, compliance, and risk mitigation to new levels."

The Certified Services Program is initially aimed at LogLogic implementation services and, over time, will also provide for other professional services including training, consultation and integration services:

  • Implementation: CSP partners Ciphent, Corporate Networking Inc., iQwest, ITAT Partners and Zepko offer on-location, comprehensive implementation services (tailored to the customer's system size), including system set-up, configuration, and application of the LMI and LogLogic Compliance Suites as well as recommendations and best practices such as what reports to run and when to meet business needs.
  • Training: Education services aimed at teaching customers how to maximize the features and benefits of a LMI platform are available today directly from LogLogic Inc. and from ITAT Partners. For information, class-schedules and on-line registration visit http://www.loglogic.com/log-ed/.
  • Consultation: CSP partners Ciphent, Corporate Networking Inc., iQwest and Zepko offer custom LogLogic consultation services, ranging from LogLogic's systems best practices to how to best use logs to meet security and risk mitigation requirements. Arsenal Security provides comprehensive compliance consultation and auditing services including PCI, SOX, GBLA, and HIPAA
  • Integration: In the near future, CSPs can ensure the smooth integration of LogLogic solutions as a platform into highly complex IT environments.

"At Zepko, our goal is to bring high-quality management information (MI) and compliance solutions to our customers," said Steve England, Managing Director at Zepko. "Being able to offer accredited professional services alongside the LogLogic technology helps us make our benefit to our customers both clear and complete."

"The LogLogic platform enables our clients to seamlessly integrate and monitor their business critical applications and network components within days, not weeks," said Lee Dudley, Vice President at Ciphent, a CSP Partner. "Its flexible design will continue to ensure we can address even the most complex compliance and log management challenges. We are proud to be a LogLogic CSP Partner."

"We often find that, after a customer makes the strategic decision to select LogLogic and completes the purchase, the operations staff isn't positioned to properly integrate the tool into their daily work processes to get the most out of the investment," said Kevin Lynch Technical Services Director for CNI Sales. "We were already a leading reseller of LogLogic solutions, but becoming a CSP partner allows us to bring a more comprehensive set of services to make security and compliance an easier task for our customers to achieve."

"As a CSP partner, iQwest can benefit LogLogic customers by providing both knowledge of the log management platform itself and vast experience with integrating LogLogic technology into an overall security and compliance program," said Gal Shpantzer, VP, Partnerships and Strategic Alliances at iQwest. "That combination is the key to successfully extracting the most value out of the LogLogic purchase and creating immediate ROI for the customer."

"LogLogic's solution has a wide appeal, and our customers range from Fortune 100 financial institutions, retailers subject to PCI compliance, and even small to medium sized businesses," said Ray Sprong, President of ITAT Partners, a LogLogic Premier Partner. "Beyond the simple purchase of the LogLogic platform, each customer has a specific set of technical and educational needs, and we are pleased to have the opportunity to be trained and certified by LogLogic to better meet those needs on an ongoing basis."

"Today we see a clear need for LMI solutions that meet required compliance requirements like the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS)," said Russell Teague, at Arsenal Security Group, Inc. "LogLogic is a world leader in LMI solutions and brings that capability to their customers so they can meet the requirements to achieve and maintain compliance while managing enterprise risk at an affordable price."
