LogLogic Appoints Patricia C. Sueltz Chief Executive Officer

SAN JOSE, Calif. – December 3, 2007 – LogLogic®, the log management leader, today announced that it has named Patricia C. Sueltz as the company's new chief executive officer. Sueltz, a veteran technology executive who has held senior leadership roles at Sun Microsystems, IBM and Salesforce.com, joins LogLogic from SurfControl where as CEO she led this public company through a transformational reorganization and into a new phase of growth as the leading provider of global on-demand, network and end-point content security solutions. This growth and transformational success led to an all cash offer from Websense, Inc. of more than $400 million representing a 63% premium to shareholders. Dominique Levin, who served as Acting CEO the past five months, will continue on as EVP Marketing, Products & Business Development reporting directly to Sueltz.

"LogLogic is experiencing growth well beyond market rates and is positioned at the center of major technology trends sweeping the industry around compliance, security and the provision of intelligent management information from multiple logs" Sueltz said. "As the market leader in log management and intelligence solutions, LogLogic is rapidly expanding its domestic and global channel and is well positioned to become an integral and core component of IT governance, risk and compliance solutions for customers worldwide."

"Pat brings proven leadership to LogLogic, an enviable track record of industry success and an unmatched commitment to customers," said Michael Goguen, General Partner, Sequoia Capital and Chairman of the LogLogic board. "LogLogic's cost effective log management and intelligence solutions have enjoyed remarkable success in the marketplace, and now Pat's unique combination of talent and experience will take the business to the next level of growth. We are delighted to welcome her to the team."

With a strong background in the security management and IT industry, Sueltz brings more than 25 years of executive experience to her position as CEO of LogLogic. Prior to LogLogic, Sueltz served as CEO of SurfControl. Before that she served as president of global operations at Salesforce.com through the company's IPO process. Sueltz also spent five years at Sun Microsystems, first as executive vice president of the Sun software systems group, then as executive vice president of Sun services where she was responsible for Java and Solaris and the creation of OpenOffice.org.
