Job Description:

The Channel Account Manager role incorporates two main functions:

  • Be an individual quota-carrying Mid-Market sales rep working with and through channel partners to identify, work and close Mid-Market revenue. Acting as both a sales manager of the sales teams of your Partners and as a sales leader, build a pipeline of opportunities that you and your Partners convert to revenue to meet company goals.
  • Develop a geographic Partner coverage model made up of VAR Partners who can assist enterprise Reps in identifying, working and closing enterprise opportunities and who can assist the Channel Account Manager in identifying, working and closing Mid-Market opportunities. Leveraging a Field-based Channel SE, provide Partners with sales and technical training to enable them to drive incremental, net new LogLogic opportunities.

Detailed responsibilities:

  • Generate incremental MM opportunities and leverage appropriate Partner resources.
  • Aid Partner field sales in identifying, driving and closing MM opportunities.
  • Identify, work, forecast and close MM deals.
  • Ensure geographic Partner coverage to support enterprise and mid-market opportunities.
  • Drive LogLogic field rep engagement with Partner field sales for account mapping and opportunity driving.
  • Prospect, profile, engage, sign and enable Partners to drive LogLogic revenue.
  • Own Partner engagement model with LogLogic field sales, inside sales and other LogLogic resources.
  • Own opportunity assignment to the partners.
  • Define and execute overall partner geographical coverage model.
  • Own executive level relationship at partners.

Job Requirements:

  • 4 year college or university program certificate.
  • 3-5 years direct sales experience.
  • 3-5 years Partner sales/Partner management experience.
  • Existing relationships with national and regional VAR Partners.
  • Previous experience selling hardware, software and/or services to the small, medium and large enterprise customers.
