Director, Business Development

Position Summary:
The Director of Business Development role is to grow revenue in LogLogic's Managed Service Provider (MSP), Technology Alliance Partner (TAP), and Certified Services Partner (CSP) segments. The position requires a track record of revenue producing partner engagements in the networking/security industry.
Reports to: Senior Director, Business Development
Location: This position will be based at the company's headquarters, located in San Jose.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate, drive, and track deals and revenue through partners.
- Manage partner programs including demand generation and marketing programs.
- Understand the business objectives and requirements of LogLogic's key partners and ensure plans are in place to meet them.
- Provide technical program/product management on complex partner lead deals.
- Develop partner initiatives designed to improve the business or grow in new areas.
- Develop strong relationships with key partner executive, business, and technical contacts.
Requirements:
- 5+ years previous BD, Product Management and Sales experience.
- Technical BS/BA preferred (e.g. Engineering/Computer science).
- Enterprise, large deal partnership and sales execution with successful track record
- Previous experience with achieving sales target numbers.
- Successful partner management experience.
- High-level ability to carry out complex contract negotiations with strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience with product/API integration preferred.
- Previous experience in a security or network management company preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and can do attitude.
- Ability to travel up to 40%.
