Principal Software Engineer – Search and Semi-structured Databases

The Principal Software Engineer for Search and Semi-structured Databases will be a key member of our Platform Engineering team. This is a hands on development position for a senior developer or architect with experience delivering complex systems software in C/C++ and Java.

• Development of high performance full text indexing and search algorithms.
• Development of high speed parsers and machine learning algorithms.
• Database performance optimization.
• Review designs and implementations.

The following skills are required:

• 7+ years of complex system software development in C/C++ and Java including at least 3 years Unix/Linux development.
• High throughput full-text indexing and query response (search).
• Complex query breakdown and use of federated results.
• Implementing and using semi-structured databases.
