Sales Operations Analyst
The Sales Operations Analyst will work with Sales organization to ensure the quality, consistency and efficiency in Sales Operations, driving greatly enhanced sales performance and playing an integral role in the success of the sales team and company. Key activity includes:
- Communication, planning, revenue analysis, forecast input, modeling, tracking and reporting. Customer RFQ submittal and tracking. Demand planning.
- Assist VP Field Operations to maintain the overall funnel for worldwide sales managing consistent implementation of order management processes. Assist in the management of quotations, discounting, contract processes, etc. Assist in the creation, monitoring and administration of sales compensation plans.
- Analyze sales selling cycles and continuously suggest was to accelerate.
- Assist VP of Channels in managing the overall funnel for all worldwide channels including SI, VAR, MSSP and others
- Provide detailed reporting on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
- Maintain all field activities within the controls established in the company DOA policy.
- Monitoring internal trial stock, working with Operations on delivery, shipping arrangements etc…
- Communicate internally and externally with clear concise status and direction for action.
- Manage and monitor the sales team Knowledge system i.e. SalesForce, Wiki, email.
- Maintaining and updating sales team territory maps.
- Create and maintain sales tools supporting the Solution Selling methodology.
- Data analysis, Market research. Lead market analysis projects relating to client product segmentation.
- Prepare win/loss working with product management.
- Assist in the planning of semi-annual sales meetings. Support the sales team in planning sales events.
- Support for Account Management function. Perform specific Account Manager functions while Account Managers are out of the office due to vacation or sick leave.
- Interface between the field and technical support on escalations, maintaining status and communications.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment and pick-up new skill-sets quickly. You will be a self-starter that takes the initiative to lead projects. Must be flexible as priorities change to reflect our fast growing business. Need to be able to think on your feet, and be looking ahead for possible problems such as material or capacity issues. Strong customer relations skills.
- Bachelors degree.
- Strong knowledge of SalesForce.com required.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office required, particularly Excel & PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to articulate the attributes of hardware and software technology.
- Adept at learning, utilizing and manipulating database technologies.
