Sr. SCM Engineer / Build Release
LogLogic is seeking an SCM Engineer with 5+ years experience in software configuration management. You must also be an outstanding team player, with a real interest in sharing your knowledge and helping your teammates utilize the technology more efficiently and effectively. Requirements:
You will need 5+ years experience in the following:
- Admin experience with at least one SCM tool (CVS, RCS, VSS, Perforce, Clear Case, etc.).
- Build automation and scripting skills (Shell, Perl, Python, Ruby, etc.).
- Writing and debugging experience with at least one software build tool (Make, SCons, Ant, etc).
- C, C++, and Java development environment.
- UNIX, LINUX, and Windows O/S.
- Good and effective communication skills; able and willing to communicate.
- Detail oriented team player, self-starter and proactive problem solver.
- Able and willing to work in a rapid development environment.
- Good analytic and troubleshooting skills, strong accountability and follow-through.
- Solid understanding on software engineering practices: development and release cycle, configuration management, build procedures, etc.
- Interact and assist non-engineering personnel.
- BSCS degree (MS preferred)
